Burning Treez festival was one for the books
The Burning Treez festival, presented by Cannex Media, was an experience you had to be there for. It was the first ever consumption festival we saw on the west coast. For the first time ever, at Adelanto Stadium, stars like Soulja Boy, Ludacris, and Busta Rhymes came out for the Cannabis People. This event has over 50+ vendors at the event, some businesses selling exclusive one-of-one pieces and other businesses giving away samples for the people to enjoy. Brands like Dime Industries and Stiiizy were in the house giving the people all kinds of goodie bags. They are normal visitors to any cannabis event in California. We have seen some dope collaborations like Grizzly Peak & Soulja Boy. His line is called Soulja Boy Exotics. The strain is a limited-time thing and we suggest everyone check it out.
While they had a lot of stars in the building, the festival itself also catered to the California community, having California-made brands vending at the event. They had businesses from clothing to food, all having a platform full of 6,000+ people in attendance. Brands like El Chavo Extracts and Geez, which are local California brands, had a great time and told us they were very thankful for the opportunity Burnin Treez had brought them. You got to try exclusive items only given out at the Burning Treez festival, which was a great touch for all ticket holders. We were happy to see clothing brand Dead Homies in the building, who sells all one of one pieces. They have been seen on Melrose Ave daily.
Maestro of First Track Entertainment/McCrae Mafia held down the main stage for most of the night, dealing with the stars like Ludacris, Too Short, Busta Rhymes, and Soulja Boy. The performances of the night were out of this world. We got to see some of Mobb Deep and get reminded of the classics we know and love. It didn’t just stop there. Ludacris made sure to keep his set time promised as he fit in as many classics as the crowd wanted to hear. There were so many stars of the night that it was hard to keep track of them all. Even when Busta Rhymes hit the stage, he brought out some songs that had the people singing word for word. You can’t forget about the first rapper to do the Burning Treez festival, which was Soulja Boy. He did not only do a meet and greet with the fans for his new strain but gave a legendary performance. There were so many great performers, it was mind-blowing.
The Burning Treez festival is one of a kind, and we are so excited to see it come back to California. Legendary performances, legendary businesses, an overall legendary night indeed. We are excited to see it come back again and who they will have at the next one.
